I have been meaning to read up on it to know for sure, but I feel the moderating is done in the rendering process. As it processes and creates it auto-detects and stops processing anything that can be even seen over the line. Small slips up probably occur in cases where there's some interference or the subject matter obscures the direct detection. But that is just a guess until I look into it.

I did ask Grok why it was so heavy handed in it's censorship and got some political diatribe about left and right and morals and freedom of speech and art. I probably should have read it to get some better understanding, but I went back to making sexy videos instead.
