Regardless, it's not some gamegate crusade here, it's just a repeating pattern of her overstating her qualifications or authority, making definitive statements about a range of subjects and pretty quickly folding and backpedaling at every turn. People have talked about her shift in attitude to OF streamers, or that clip of her being adamant to her community about not selling out for sponsors, belittling small streamers about relying on bigger creators to jumpstart their careers, or just the way she will relentlessly shit talk something until there's a monetary incentive not to. Obviously she's not some moral figure to look up to, but it's funny to watch the lies unfurl in real time.

it's understandable that streamers want to keep their partners private but her tripling down over and over and over again about being a virgin is so weird. Especially now that she has stripped all the sexy/suggestive aspects of her stream away. She used to do that shit to try and farm coomers before her instagram blew up but I guess she feels like she just needs to keep doing it? I dunno, it's strange.

True, but for me your 1st point here is what makes me unbothered about the 2nd. If someone isn’t consequential in the first place, can’t find their statements/opinions worth tracking for inconsistencies…but everyone is different.

Fair, but no matter what they look like—I still care less about however accurate/well-informed their video game reviews are, or how long they stick with a playthrough. It's not really strange when you can see what happens to a lot of femme creators when they disclose a relationship, their viewership tanks. Imagine what would happen to her if she said "welp, I was actually dating my mod this whole time, now pay me."

For the same reason she keeps taking thousands in sponsor dollars while also farming ad revenue with 6-8 hour streams. She's money-hungry, but just smart enough to know that the well will eventually run dry. She can only be carried by lonely gooners for so long.

Her content is overwhelmingly clip farming at this point and her core audience seems not to mind. Frankly, she doesn't really seem to give a shit about anything or the impacts of her statements, so why would her audience care?

I'm only really sticking around at this point hoping to see it blow up in her face for shits and gigs.

That you’re right is the saddest part, because what kind of lobotomized morons watch/pay based on if someone has a relationship or not?! It’s like someone refusing to watch a Scarlett Johansson or Ana de Armas movie based on whether they’re dating/married to someone at the time. I’ve been lonely at times in my life, but I still can’t fathom ever getting to the point where a fake connection with a distant entertainer made up in my head is impacted on any level by real money and/or a real partner. What would you consider “it blow(ing) up in her face” to your satisfaction to be? Just losing viewer numbers (what else can we see, really?), or something else?
